WP BOX is distributed under a custom copyleft license, which means that after purchase, you are free to fork it, modify or use in commercial products, under the terms clarified below.

Purchasing this license unlocks access to private GitHub repository for one year. During this time, you will be able to re-download the product from GitHub, including all new updates, and even work in progress in dev branches.

Permission is hereby granted, under a yearly subscription (payment and price terms available on wp-box.org), to any person obtaining a copy of this software and associated documentation files (the “Software”), to deal in the Software under the following conditions:

Allowed usage of this software:
You can make websites for yourself and your clients and deploy them, if those websites do not intent to distribute the source code of this project.

Not allowed usage of this software:
You cannot sell access to source code or substantial parts of this project or its forks or make it publicly available for free.

This software includes some third party open source software components licensed under MIT, which allow me to implement this custom license, other components with GPL licenses are not included directly with the package, but instead can be installed as additional components.

Each of these software components have their own license.

Copyright Assignment

WP BOX is an open source software, thus once obtained, it allows users to make contributions to the project repository. However, users willing to contribute to the source code or documentation in the official repository are obligated to assign copyright to WP BOX owner – Sam Tyurenkov.

This applies without any additional documents, signed by user. When you obtain a copy of the software – you automatically agree to assign copyright on all contributions made into official repository.

In case contribution was already copyrighted by third-parties, WP BOX authors are not responsible for that copyright infrigment, but copyright holders can ask for removal of violating code from the the project. Such a request should be made via email with detailed explanation about how copyright was violated and proofs of holding the copyright.

Terms of Purchase

To create a purchase on this site – you need to have an account. You can manually register and activate account or it will be automatically created during purchase.

If you have an account with a confirmed email address – when you start a purchase – you will be redirected to the payment gateway. Upon payment completion – payment provider sends a notification, which triggers automated hook and a purchase is bound to your account.

  • Purchased digital product will be provided automatically, you will receive an email with instructions explaining how to get it. If it has a subscription terms – access to the product will be revoked after specified amount of time.
  • Purchased service (consulting for example) will let you choose a consultation date and time, and you will be provided with email instructions explaining how to join a consultation online.

Returning a Purchase

Due to the nature of the products provided by WP BOX – they are NOT returnable. All purchases are final and have no return policy.

WP BOX is dedicated to providing a great service, thus you can expect a reasonable negotiation – e.g. you can ask to move reserved consulting date and time, in case you cannot join.
